1. About these Terms

These Terms govern use of the website, inquiry forms, trial-class booking tools and text messaging program offered by LAB Dance Studio LLC, doing business as The LAB Dance Studio (“we,” “us,” or “Studio”). Please review these Terms before using those services. Any required agreement to these Terms will be requested at the relevant booking, registration or consent step.

2. Adults and parent or guardian responsibility

Our online forms and messaging program are intended for adults age 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian must submit requests and complete any required registration for a minor student. You must provide accurate contact and booking information and have authority to provide information about a child on whose behalf you act.

3. Class information and trial bookings

Class schedules, instructors, age groups, availability and offers may change. Submitting an inquiry or trial request does not guarantee a place in a class; the Studio must confirm the booking. Eligibility, dates, availability and any restrictions for a trial or promotion will be disclosed with that offer. A trial request does not authorize recurring charges or automatically enroll a student in paid classes.

If you need to change or cancel a booking, contact the Studio as soon as possible. Any cancellation deadline or charge must be disclosed before you confirm the booking.

4. Enrollment, fees and separate agreements

Tuition, registration fees, billing schedules, refunds, make-up classes, withdrawals and cancellation requirements are governed by the enrollment terms presented before registration or payment. These website Terms do not create an automatic renewal, a nonrefundable fee or a payment authorization. If a signed enrollment agreement conflicts with these Terms about enrollment or payment, that agreement controls for that subject, subject to applicable law.

Participation may require a separate safety acknowledgment, emergency contact form or participant waiver signed by the adult student or the minor’s parent or guardian. Using the website does not itself waive injury claims or grant permission to publish a student’s image.

5. Text messaging program

Program name: The LAB Dance Studio SMS Program.

If you separately opt in, we may send texts about your inquiries, trial bookings, appointment reminders, scheduling changes and enrollment follow-up. If you separately opt in to promotional texts, we may also send class announcements and special offers. Messages may be sent using automated technology. We send only the message categories covered by your consent or otherwise permitted by law.

Message frequency varies based on your interactions and the message categories you select. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchase, enrollment or booking a trial class.

To opt out, reply STOP to a message. You may also clearly request that messages stop by contacting us at the support email or phone number above. We honor reasonable requests to withdraw consent. After you opt out, you may receive one nonpromotional message confirming your request, as permitted by law. Additional messages require a new valid opt-in or another lawful basis. Opting out of texts does not cancel a class booking or enrollment; contact the Studio separately for those requests.

For help, reply HELP or contact [email protected] or (801) 648-9567. Text delivery is subject to carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on text messages for emergencies. You must own or be authorized to use the number you provide, and should notify us if you change or give up that number.

6. Appropriate use and website content

Do not submit unlawful, misleading or abusive material, impersonate others, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access or misuse another person’s information. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect our systems, subject to applicable law.

Website text, logos, photos and other content belong to the Studio or its licensors. You may view and use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. Other reproduction or commercial use requires permission unless permitted by law.

7. Third-party services and website availability

Our website may link to third-party websites or use third-party booking or payment services. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to their services. We do not control independent third-party websites. We use reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free content. Contact us to confirm details before relying on information that appears incorrect.

8. Limits and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of this website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence, or limits nonwaivable consumer rights. This website provision does not serve as a waiver of claims arising from dance participation.

9. Governing law and changes

Utah law governs these Terms, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively change an existing booking, signed enrollment agreement or SMS consent. We will provide additional notice or seek renewed agreement when required by law.
